Scalable Fashion B2C Marketplace

An emerging fashion giant was struggling with a monolithic e-commerce platform that consistently failed during high-traffic events like Black Friday and seasonal product launches. The site's slow loading times on mobile devices were directly contributing to an alarming cart abandonment rate. They needed a future-ready solution that could handle hundreds of thousands of concurrent users, provide a lightning-fast mobile experience, and allow their marketing team to update content across multiple regions without developer intervention.
We implemented a 'Headless' commerce strategy, decoupling the frontend user experience from the complex backend logic. By using Next.js for the storefront and Shopify Plus as the commerce engine, we ensured that the frontend could be scaled independently through a global Content Delivery Network (CDN). We integrated an AI-driven search and recommendation engine to increase discoverability and implemented a custom-built one-click checkout process optimized specifically for mobile users. The entire architecture was containerized using Docker and deployed on AWS for maximum elasticity.
